Enhancements:
1. Undo and redo options added to edit menu. (Still in image menu).
2. Improvements to random file operation of slide show.
3. Improved thumbnail setup dialogue box.
4. SlideShow and NextFile now start from current file, not beginning 
   of the list. Manual forcing to beginning of file list is possible.
5. A warning is given if <ENTER> or <ESCAPE> is used to exit PGV. 
   <SHIFT><ENTER> is still immediate.
6. Improvements in positioning of print in stretch mode.
7. Ability to save digital camera (Exif) data when saving JPEG files.

Paul's Graphic Viewer version 3.18 contains new facilities and bug
fixes and was released on 3rd of April 2001.

Enhancements:
1. Looks for PGV.INI in same directory as PGV.EXE if not found under
   Windows directory.
2. Allow SlideShow sort order default to be changed in PGV.INI.
3. Installation program added: SETUP.EXE. Setup will update PGV.INI 
   and preserve all the settings including the registration key.
4. Variable ThumbNail size and ThumbNail sheet size to allow more 
   versatile thumbnail sheets and to format for printing a number
   of images on one page.
5. Upgraded PNG to version 1.0.8 and ZLib to version 1.1.3.
6. Added BMP, 16 bits per pixel, bit fields compression type.
7. Set up Thumbnail Sheet to match printer paper.

Enhancements:
1. Batch file processing using command line arguments.
2. Wild cards added to command line processing.
3. Colour Depth added to command line processing.
4. Zoom % displayed if viewing width is not 100%.
5. Animated Cursors can now be viewed.
6. Default view can be setup in PGV.INI.
7. TIFF files: CCITT FAX and RLE can now be viewed.
8. Warning messages are off by default but can be turned on in PGV.INI.
9. CMYK colour space in TIFF and JPEG images now work.

Enhancements:
1. PGV SlideShow can now be started from script commands in the *.lst file.  
2. PGV.INI allows setting of the default JPEG Save quality.  
3. Transform an image or part of an image to a mosaic.
4. Change Colour Depth to 2, 16, 256 Colours. Floyd-Stienberg, Diffuse 
   Floyd and Bayer dithering available
5. Save BMP files in 2, 16, 256 or True Colour modes.
6. Save TGA files in 256 or True Colour modes.
7. Save GIF files in 2, 16 or 256 Colour modes. Note that no LZW
   encoding is used and PGV GIF write does not infringe the Unisys

2. Small images now appear correctly (WINDOWS NT and 98).

This version was released on 3rd of May 1998.  

Enhancements:  
1. Upgrade JPEG to V6.1. This allows reading of progressive huffman 
   encoded files.
2. SaveAs now supports JPEG for saving pictures.
3. Several ICON files now work including 256 colour and a variety of
   sizes.
4. GIF file animation can now be displayed a specified number of times.
5. JPEG files with the extension JPEG are now accepted by PGV.
6. Long filenames passed in as an argument now handles correctly. Note
   that ZTreeWin uses %2 in batch files to give a long filename.
7. Control of GIF animation defaults are now in PGV.INI.
Fixes include:  
1. Nasty bug caused by very long filenames writing past end of filename 
   buffer.
2. Local colour maps now supported in GIF files.
3. Escape key now works on file open abort confirmation.
4. Fix palette crashes which occur after 150 palette based files viewed.
5. PGV.INI will now be found under windows no matter what the directory
   name is. It will also search the path as pointed to by the PATH
   statement in AUTOEXEC.BAT.
6. GIF images with no global colour map are now displayed correctly.

1. Paul's Graphics Viewer is now a full 32 bit application. Long
   filenames are fully supported.

3. LZW TIFF files now supported.
4. Maximum width of a picture is now 2400 pixels.
5. 32 bit colour files now supported.
Fixes include:  
1. The picture remains where it is moved when reloaded. 
2. Inappropriate menu options greyed out.

Paul's Graphic Viewer version 2.3f contains bug fixes and more 
enhancements. This version was released on 18th of August 1997.

2. Registration is now done via a key removing the need to ship
   software.
3. Palette used for 24 bit colours in 256 colour displays.
Fixes include:  
1. Palette fixes for TIFF files. 
2. If file not found - bug. Fixed.
3. Old file now stays until new one loaded.
4. Filters now work on JPEG when displayed in 256 colour modes.
5. OK / Cancel buttons work from User Defined Filters.
6. Version 2 JPEGs now work (all seen so far).

3. Compressed BMP files are now displayed.

1. 'Save as' options only show BMP as a valid format. 
2. 'Save as' on some 4 bit pictures could not be viewed. 
3. 'Save as' had pictures shifted by 1/3 of width. 
4. BMP loading bug if data offset from palette. 
5. JPEG GPF when some files were displayed using 256 colour drivers.
